Kettling

Kettling is when a big group of people are gathered together in a small place by the police. Just like how water boils in a kettle when it's trapped inside, people in the group get trapped and can't move around freely.

The police do this to try to control the big group of people, and make sure they don't cause any trouble. But sometimes, this can make the people in the group feel scared or trapped.
