Khmer architecture

Khmer architecture is when people make buildings and stuff in Cambodia that are really old and pretty cool looking. Some of the most famous buildings are the temples called Angkor Wat, Bayon, and Ta Prohm. These buildings were made a long time ago, like a thousand years ago! They used rocks called sandstone and lots of hard work to make the buildings look really beautiful. Khmer architecture is very special and unique because it has lots of interesting designs and carvings that tell stories about the people who used to live there. These buildings are really important to the people of Cambodia because they are a part of their history and culture. People from all around the world come to see them and learn about the Khmer people.
