Kinetics (physics)

Kinetics is a type of physics that studies how things move. It looks at how a body moves, the forces that make it move, and the energy it takes for it to move. It's one of the four main branches of physics, the others being thermodynamics, electricy, and optics. Kinetics lets us understand how things like cars, airplanes, and roller coasters move and work.
