Kitab al-I'tibar

Kitab al-i'tibar is a book from a long time ago written by a man named Ibn al-Qalanisi. He was a historian and he wrote down things that happened in his city called Damascus.

In this book, he wrote about important people and events that happened in the city. He used stories from his own life and stories that he heard from other people. He wanted to make sure that people would remember these things and learn from them.
