Kurmasana is a yoga pose that looks like a turtle.
To do kurmasana, you sit down with your legs stretched out in front of you. Then you bend your knees and bring your feet close to your body. You put your arms under your knees and try to wrap them around your legs.
You inhale and lift your hips off the ground while keeping your feet still. You exhale and bend forward while bringing your head towards your feet. Your arms hold your legs to keep you in the pose.
Kurmasana is good for your body because it stretches your back, hips, and legs. It also calms your mind and reduces stress. Just like how a turtle can retreat into its shell for protection, doing kurmasana can make you feel safe and secure.
