Labor spy

Okay kiddo, let's talk about something called a labor spy. Have you ever heard of a spy before? You know, like in the movies where someone sneaks around looking for secrets?

Well, a labor spy is someone who gets paid to sneak around and spy on workers who are trying to make their jobs better. You see, sometimes workers get together and form something called a union. A union is like a big team where workers work together to make sure they get paid fairly and get good working conditions.

But some companies don't like unions. They might think that if workers form a union, they will have to pay more money or give them better working conditions. So they hire labor spies to try to stop the workers from forming a union.

These labor spies will pretend to be workers and try to get close to other workers who want to form a union. They might try to take pictures or videos of the workers or even try to trick them into saying something that could get them in trouble.

It's not fair or nice to spy on people like that. The workers should be allowed to form a union if they want to. That's why it's important to treat people with respect and not try to sneak around behind their backs.
