Lamassu

Lamassu is a very old and important creature from the stories of the ancient people who lived in a place called Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq. Lamassu is a big creature that is part bull, part eagle, and part lion. It has big wings like a bird and big claws like a lion.

Lamassu was believed to be a powerful and protective creature. It was often used in art and architecture as a symbol of strength and protection.
