Landscape ecology

Landscape ecology is the study of how land changes over time. This includes looking at how plants, animals, and people interact with the land in different ways. For example, landscape ecology studies how trees and grass grow in different areas, what kind of animals and insects live there, and how people are making changes to the land. Landscape ecology is important because it helps us understand how the natural environment can be managed in ways that protect it and keep it healthy.
