ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Landscape of practice

Landscape of practice is a way to think about all the different things we have to do in order to get good at something. Imagine your backyard has a big hill. On the top of the hill is a tree with a swing in it. Climbing the hill, running around the tree, and swinging on the swing are all things you do to get better at playing on the swing. The hill is like the landscape of practice, and the things you do to get better are the different activities you do while you are trying to improve.
