Large Area Neutron Detector

A large area neutron detector is a device that is used to detect particles (or tiny bits) called neutrons. It works like a special kind of camera that takes pictures of neutrons instead of light. It does this by using materials that can detect and measure the neutrons when they pass through. The materials interact with the neutrons in different ways, and then the detector measures the reactions to figure out where the neutrons are coming from. The large area part means that the detector is big so it can detect neutrons over a wider area.
