ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Largest body parts

Our bodies are made up of many different parts, some big and some small. Some of the biggest body parts we have include our brain, our skeleton, and our skin.

Our brain is the organ that controls everything we do. It is located inside our skull and is protected by it. Our brain helps us think, feel, move and even breathe! It's like the control center of our bodies.

Our skeleton is the structure that holds up our body. It is made up of bones, which work like a frame. Our skeleton helps us stand up straight and protects all of our organs. It's like the framework of a house.

Our skin is the outer layer of our body. It wraps around us like a blanket and protects our insides from things like germs and the sun. Our skin is the biggest organ in our body and it is always growing and changing. It's like a protective armor for our body.

We also have other big body parts like our heart, lungs, and liver. These are all important organs that help us stay alive and healthy. So, all of these body parts work together to help us do everything we need to do every day!
