Larva

Larva are baby animals that have not grown up yet. Many animals, like butterflies and beetles, start out their lives as small, wriggling larva before they grow up into adults. Larva look quite different from their adult forms since they usually have no wings, eyes, or other features that the adult will have. The larva need to eat and grow before they can become adults.
