LaserDisc

Laserdisc is an old kind of video disc that was used before DVD and Blu-Ray discs. Laserdiscs were special because they were the first kind of video disc that could store movies and television shows on them. Laserdiscs were round (like a pizza) and had little bumps called “pits” on them that stored the movie or show. Laserdiscs were put into a special machine called a Laserdisc player, which would “read” the pits on the disc and show the movie or show on the television.
