Late night television

Late night television is when some TV shows are on after most kids have gone to bed. This means that grown-ups get to watch TV shows that might have things in them that aren't really for kids. Late night TV shows often have hosts that tell jokes, talk to famous people, or do funny things. They might also have music performances, sketches (short funny plays), or interviews with interesting people. Late night TV is usually on channels that are meant for grown-ups, like Comedy Central or NBC, but sometimes you can also watch it online.
