Late-night talk show

A late-night talk show is when someone is on TV talking and sometimes making jokes when most people are usually asleep. The person who talks is usually called a host and they will have some other people on the show with them to talk with. They might talk about the news or things that happened that day or week or they might have famous people on the show to talk to. Sometimes they might also have funny skits or games to play. The show is called a talk show because the people on the show are talking and sharing their thoughts and ideas. Late-night talk shows usually happen at night time when most kids are sleeping and adults are relaxing before bed.
