Latin America

Latin America is a group of countries in the western hemisphere (half of the world) that speak mostly Spanish or Portuguese. These countries stretch from Mexico down through South America. Latin American countries include Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela, Argentina, Cuba, and many more. They usually have similar cultures, foods, music, and customs. People from Latin America often have darker skin, which is a result of people from Europe and Africa mixing together centuries ago.
