Law (principle)

A law is a rule made by people in charge, like lawmakers or governments, that everyone has to follow. Laws help make sure everyone is treated fairly, and help keep everyone safe. For example, the law might say that people shouldn't break into someone else's house, or that people shouldn't drive too fast.
