Legion of Honour

The Legion of Honour is an award given to people who have done really great things. It's a special medal you can wear around your neck that shows people how awesome you are. Think of it like getting a gold star for doing a good job.

To get the Legion of Honour, you have to do something really important for your country or community. This could be anything from teaching people to read, to fighting in a war and protecting other people.

The medal has lots of different colors and symbols on it that represent something different. For example, there might be a picture of a bird, which means you did something to help the environment. Or there might be a picture of a sword, which means you were really brave and protected people from danger.

The Legion of Honour has been around for a very long time. It started in France more than 200 years ago! Since then, lots of people from all over the world have received it for doing amazing things.

So, in short, the Legion of Honour is a medal you get for being super awesome and making the world a better place.
