Ribbons of the French military and civil awards

Imagine you have a personal sticker collection. You know the stickers that you get when you do well in class or when you do something good which make you feel proud. The French military and civil awards work in a similar way but instead of stickers, they give out ribbons that you pin to your clothes when you achieve something good or special.

Now, each ribbon has a special meaning. It represents a particular achievement or accomplishment. For example, there is a ribbon for being brave, a ribbon for being helpful, and a ribbon for being very good at your job. These ribbons can represent anything from being in the military and serving your country, to helping people in need, or doing good things for your community.

But these ribbons aren't just handed out to anyone. You have to work really hard, be very special or do something amazing to earn them.

People wear their ribbons on their clothes so everyone can see the great things they have done. So, when you see someone wearing these ribbons, you know they have done something special that makes them a hero.

In summary, ribbons of the French military and civil awards are like special stickers you collect when you do something really good, and they show everyone how amazing you are.
