ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Ley tunnel

Okay kiddo, have you ever heard of tunnels? They are like big tubes or pipes that go under the ground. A ley tunnel is a special kind of tunnel that people used to build a long time ago. They thought that these tunnels had magic powers to help them do things like grow crops or protect themselves from bad luck.

Ley tunnels were usually built between important places like churches, castles or special rocks or trees. People believed that the magic power could flow through the tunnels and connect these places together. These tunnels were often very long and narrow, only big enough for one person to walk through at a time and they were carved out of the earth or dug deep into the ground.

Nowadays we don't hear much about ley tunnels because people no longer believe in their magical powers. But they are still interesting places to explore and learn about the history and legends of different places.
