ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Libertarian pledge

The Libertarian Pledge is a promise that people can make to themselves to follow the values of the Libertarian Party. It is a way of showing your support for the party and its ideas.
The Libertarian Pledge says:
"I do not believe in or advocate the initiation of force as a means of achieving political or social goals."
This means that you don't think it's okay to use violence or force to get what you want, but that you should use peaceful, non-violent actions instead. It is a way of agreeing to use only peaceful methods to achieve your goals and resolve any conflicts.
