Libraries and librarians in fiction

A library is a place that has lots and lots of books. A librarian is a person who works in a library. In fiction, libraries and librarians are a common part of stories and movies. They can be helpful, like when they help the hero find information they need, or they can be mysterious and magical places, like when they have magical books that contain secret knowledge. Libraries and librarians in fiction can also be a place for adventure and discovery. For example, in the Harry Potter series, Hogwarts Library is a place where Harry and his friends have some of their most amazing adventures.
