Limit superior and limit inferior

Limit superior and limit inferior are two ways of describing the behavior of a sequence of numbers. The limit superior of a sequence is the number that the sequence will get closer and closer to as you follow the sequence further and further. The limit inferior is the number that the sequence will get closer and closer to as you follow the sequence in the other direction.
