Linguistic Diversity is like having different flavors of ice cream. Just like there are many types of ice cream like chocolate, strawberry or vanilla, there are many types of languages in the world. People from different places speak different languages because they grew up learning those just like how you learned to speak the language your parents speak.
Imagine if everyone in the world spoke the exact same language, it would be like everyone having the same flavor of ice cream all the time. It can get boring! But because there are many languages, we get to learn different words, sounds and expressions which makes communication and understanding more interesting.
Just like how you may need help using a spoon to eat ice cream, people who don't speak the same language may need help communicating with each other using things like sign language or translation tools. But even then, it's still fun to learn a new language and communicate with someone in a different way.
So, let's celebrate our linguistic diversity, just like we celebrate the different flavors of ice cream we have!
