Linux on embedded systems

Linux is a type of software that runs on computers. It can be used in all sorts of devices, including embedded systems. An embedded system is something like a tiny computer that is built into a larger device. For example, some TVs and cars have embedded systems in them. When Linux is used in an embedded system, it lets the system do lots of different things. It could control the TV's menus or help keep your car running well.
