Literary consonance

Okay kiddo, so in stories and poems, there are these funny little sounds that keep showing up again and again. They are called consonants! And when those consonants sound the same, like they rhyme but with letters that aren't at the end of words, we call that "literary consonance."

So let's say we have a story about a silly snake named Sam. The writer might use lots of "s" sounds to make it more fun to read. Like, "Sam slithered slowly, savoring the sun." See how those "s" sounds keep popping up? That's literary consonance!

It's like a special secret language that writers use to make their stories more interesting and exciting. And you can learn to do it too when you write your own stories!"
