Little Treaty of Versailles

Ok, so do you remember that big war we talked about earlier, World War I?
Well, when it ended, lots of countries got together to talk about what should happen next.

One of the things they talked about was how to punish Germany, who had started the war.

So they wrote this really important paper called the Treaty of Versailles that said Germany had to do a lot of things, like give back land they had taken from other countries, pay a lot of money to the countries hurt by the war, and limit how many soldiers and weapons they could have.

But some people, including Germany, thought the treaty was too harsh and unfair.

So, they made another paper, called the Little Treaty of Versailles, that said other countries, like Austria and Hungary, had to do some of the same things as Germany.

The Little Treaty of Versailles was important because it helped make sure there was peace and fairness after the war, not just for Germany, but for other countries as well.
