ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Logical positivism

Logical positivism is a way of thinking about the world and how we understand it. It suggests that the only things that can be thought of as true and meaningful are those that can be observed and proven through logical reasoning or scientific experiments. This means that if something cannot be tested or proven in a logical way, it is not true. This means that things like feelings, beliefs and opinions are not considered meaningful or true, unless they can be proven by facts.
