Logistics management

Logistics management is about making sure goods and materials get to where they need to be efficiently. It’s like playing a game of checkers, but with lots of goods. Logistics managers plan out each step of a shipment: from the pickup point, to the delivery point, and the delivery method. They make decisions like which truck to use, or which route to take. They also need to make sure that the goods reach the right person at the right time and in good condition. Logistics management is important because it helps make sure that goods are delivered on time, in the right place, and at the right cost.
