Lorry (horse-drawn)

So, imagine a really big carriage that is pulled by a really big horse. That's a lorry! It's like a giant truck, but instead of being powered by an engine, it's powered by a horse.

Back in the olden days, before big trucks and cars, horses were used to transport things from one place to another. A lorry was one of those things. It was really useful for moving heavy stuff like furniture, food or even people!

The lorry had a big wooden body with four wheels and could carry a lot of things. The horse would be attached to the lorry with a harness so it could pull it along. People would ride in the lorry or walk alongside it while the horse pulled it.

Nowadays, we don't really use horse-drawn lorries anymore. They're more of a thing from the past. But they were really important back in the day for transporting goods from one place to another, and still hold a special place in history.
