Low-carbon fuel standard

A low-carbon fuel standard is a law that requires fuel companies to reduce the amount of carbon pollution that comes out of their cars. This law is important because when cars put out too much carbon, it can make our air unhealthy to breathe and can also contribute to global warming. The low-carbon fuel standard sets limits on how much carbon can come out of cars so that our air stays clean and we can help reduce global warming.
