Low-dropout regulator

A low-dropout regulator is like the security guard of your battery. It makes sure that your battery doesn't run out of energy too quickly by controlling the amount of electricity that's flowing out of it.

Imagine you have a juice box with a big straw. The juice flows through the straw easily, but if the straw gets smaller, the juice won't flow as fast. A low-dropout regulator works the same way. It controls the size of the straw (or in technical terms, the amount of resistance), so the energy from the battery flows out more slowly and steadily. This way, your device can continue to work properly without any interruptions.
