ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Low-information voter

A low-information voter is someone who doesn't take the time to learn about politics and doesn't pay attention to the news. They don't pay attention to what is happening in government and don't know who to vote for in elections. They usually make decisions based on their emotions or the things their friends and family members say. This can lead to bad voting decisions, because they don't have the facts to base their decisions on.
