Loyalism

Loyalism is when someone is very loyal to a person, country or cause. For example, if you really love your parents, you would be loyal to them and always try to help them out or make them happy. This is known as family loyalty. Similarly, if a country is at war, there are people who will stick with their country and fight to protect it, because it is important to them and they are loyal to it. That is known as patriotic loyalty.
