Luftwaffe Organization

The Luftwaffe was the air force of Nazi Germany during World War II. Just like in school where there are different groups of students like classes, the Luftwaffe had different groups too.

The Luftwaffe was organized into different "flights" which were like groups of planes. These flights were a part of "wings" which were like big groups of flights. Wings were commanded by "group" leaders who were like bosses.

All the wings were grouped into "air fleets" which were like the biggest groups in the Luftwaffe. The leader of the air fleet was called an "air fleet commander" who was like the principal of a school.

Overall, the Luftwaffe was very organized in terms of their hierarchy and each pilot had a specific role to play in the war effort.
