Lunisolar calendar

The lunisolar calendar is a calendar that takes into account both the moon and the sun. It's used by many cultures around the world to track the passing of time. In this calendar, different months are based on the lunar phases (the different phases of the moon). Each month is different in length and can be either 29 or 30 days long. Some years, there may be an extra month of 29 days that is used to keep the calendar in sync with the seasons. In addition to the lunar months, a lunisolar calendar also has solar years, which are based on the amount of time it takes for the earth to go around the sun. That's usually 365 days. So, you can use the lunisolar calendar to tell what time of year it is outside, as well as what stage of the moon we're in!
