ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

MUSCULAR

Muscles are like rubber bands inside your body that help you move and do stuff. Imagine your arm like a rubber band that you can stretch and move around.

Our muscles are made up of tiny strands called "fibers" that come together to form big groups called "muscle groups." Just like a bunch of spaghetti noodles make up a big pile of spaghetti.

When you want to move a part of your body, your brain sends a message to the muscles in that area to work. This message travels through your nerves like electricity, telling the muscles to contract and relax. It's like a light switch turning on and off.

Some muscles are bigger and stronger than others because they do more work. For example, your leg muscles are bigger and stronger because they have to carry your whole body weight around all day.

And just like any other part of your body, you need to take care of your muscles so they can work well. Eating healthy foods, getting enough sleep, and exercise are all ways to keep your muscles healthy and strong.
