A magnetic field is something that exists around certain objects that have a magnetic force. You can't see it, but you can feel its effects. A good example of a magnetic field is a refrigerator magnet. The magnetic force from the magnet attracts objects to it. All magnets have a north pole and a south pole. Opposite poles will attract each other, but two magnets with the same poles will push away from each other. Magnetic fields are also found around stars and planets in space.
