ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Manasa, vacha, karmana

Okay kiddo, so there are three words in Sanskrit which are very important for us to understand. They are Manasa, Vacha, and Karmana.

Manasa means our mind or thoughts. These are the things we think about in our heads, like what we want to do or how we feel about things.

Vacha means our words or speech. This is how we communicate with people by speaking, what we say out loud to others.

Karmana means our actions or what we physically do. It is how we behave, move, and do things with our hands and body.

Now, these three things are connected to each other. What we think about (Manasa) affects what we say (Vacha), and what we say (Vacha) affects what we do (Karmana). So if we think happy thoughts, we might say kind words to someone, and then do something nice for them. But if we are angry and thinking negative thoughts, we might say mean things to someone and then do something hurtful.

It's important to remember that what we think, say, and do can have a big impact on the people around us. So we want to try and always have good thoughts, say kind words, and do things that make the world a better place.
