Manhunt (law enforcement)

Manhunt (law enforcement) is when police are looking for a person who has done something wrong and is trying to escape arrest. They will use lots of people (such as police officers and army soldiers) to look for the person in many different places. They also use things like helicopters and planes to search from above. They also use things like dogs, which help them smell where the person may have been. They do their best to make sure that the person is found quickly, so that they can bring them to justice.
