Marine habitats are places in the ocean where different types of living things can live. There are a lot of different types of marine habitats, like coral reefs, salt marshes, and deep sea areas. Corals reefs are colorful and are habitats to a lot of different kinds of fish and other animals. Salt marshes are wet areas that usually have a lot of reeds growing in shallow water and often have crabs and other animals living in them. Deep sea areas are the coldest and darkest parts of the ocean and usually have lots of different kinds of fish, jellyfish, sea stars, and other animals living there.
