Mary, mother of Jesus
Mary was a very special lady because she was chosen by God to be the mother of Jesus. Jesus is important to a lot of people because he taught them about how to be kind and love others. Mary was chosen because she was a good person who loved God a lot.
Mary was visited by an angel named Gabriel who told her that she was going to have a baby who would be the Son of God. This baby was Jesus!
Mary had Jesus in a stable because there was no room at the inn where people usually stayed. When Jesus was born, she wrapped him up in blankets and laid him in a manger.
As Jesus grew up, Mary was a very important person in his life. She taught him lots of things and helped him be the kind and loving person he was.
