ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Master's degree

Great question! So, a master's degree is something you can do after you finish college. It's like going to college again, but this time you get to focus on one specific subject that you really love.

Let's say you really like science, and you want to learn even more about it. With a master's degree, you can take even more advanced classes and do research on really cool topics that nobody has ever studied before.

It's a lot of work, though. You might have to write lots of papers, take some really hard tests, and even spend a lot of time working on a really big project at the end. But when you finish, you'll have a special certificate that says you're really, really good at something!

And that certificate can help you get a really cool job or work in a field you're really passionate about. It's like having a really super-duper resume that shows everybody how smart and hardworking you are.
