Mathematics education

Mathematics education is about learning how to do things with numbers. It teaches us how to use numbers to solve problems, figure out new things, and understand the world around us. We learn how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. We also learn how to use things like decimals and fractions. Mathematics education also helps us to understand how to solve problems in other areas, like science and engineering.
