Matter (standard)

Matter is the stuff that makes up everything around us. It's anything that takes up space (has volume) and has mass (has weight). We can't see it, but it's all around us. You, your food and your house are all made of matter. Everything has matter and we can see it, feel it, and touch it. Matter doesn't just go away - it can move around, but it never disappears.
