ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Max Weber

Max Weber was a smart grown-up who lived a long time ago and he was really interested in how people live and work together in groups. He thought about things like why some people are in charge of others and how they get that way.

Weber thought about something called "bureaucracy," which is when a big group of people work together in a very organized and orderly way to get things done. He thought this was a good thing because it made things run smoothly, but it could also be bad if people in charge got too powerful and started to abuse their power.

Weber also thought a lot about "social inequality," which means that some people have more power, money, and opportunities than others. He believed that this wasn't fair and wanted to figure out how to make things more equal for everyone.

Overall, Max Weber was a really smart person who studied how people work together and wanted to make things better for everyone.
