ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Sociology of law

Sociology of law looks at how laws and the legal system impact our daily lives. It studies how the law affects people's behavior and how it can shape our ideas about how we live together in society. For example, it might look at how a law helps protect people's rights and freedoms, or how a law might prevent people from doing certain things. It also looks at how different cultures, traditions, and beliefs can affect the way laws are made and used.
