McDonald's and unions

McDonald's is a big company that makes food like hamburgers and fries. Unions are groups of workers who come together to ask for better pay, better treatment, and more rights from their bosses.

Some people think that McDonald's workers should have a union because they feel like they are not being treated fairly. They might want better wages (money they get paid for working), more opportunities for breaks, or safer working conditions.

However, McDonald's does not like unions because they worry that they will have to pay more money to their workers and they will lose control over how their restaurants are run. They might also worry that the unions will make it harder to make changes quickly if they need to.

So, some McDonald's workers and some people who support them are trying to convince McDonald's to allow unions. They think that it will help the workers get better treatment and make McDonald's a better place to work. But McDonald's is still deciding what they want to do.
