Measurement error

Measurement error is when we make a mistake while we are measuring something. Let's say we want to know how tall a tree is, so we use a measuring tape. But if we accidentally stretch the tape too much or not enough, the measurement we get will be wrong. This is because we didn't measure correctly. The same thing can happen when we measure other things like weight or temperature. If we don't use the right tools, or if we don't use them correctly, our measurement might be wrong. This is why it's important to be careful when we are measuring things, so we can make sure we get the right answer.
