The measurement problem is like a game of hide and seek. In this game, something or someone (we'll call it "the seeker") is trying to find another thing or person (we'll call it "the object"). The problem is that the seeker can see where the object WAS, but not where it IS now. The seeker has to use clues to figure out where the object has gone. This is the same problem scientists have when trying to measure things in the universe. They can see where things were, but once they measure them, they can't see where they are now—they have to guess.
